We are a non-profit organization, and becoming a member makes you a pivotal part of our community.

A supporting member is anyone who cares about our work and would like to support us by making a contribution that will help keep our daily operations and administration ticking. The price you pay to see one of our shows realistically only covers one-third of the actual cost of presenting the show. We write countless grants, develop meaningful partnerships with sponsors, and throw great fundraising events…have you been to one of our epic SILENT FILM NIGHTS?

Ultimately, it is not enough, and we need your support.

Upcoming this year, Open Pit Theatre is presenting our new show LOOK UP/VERS LE HAUT at Nakai Theatre’s Pivot Theatre Festival, at Copper Ridge Place, and in Dawson City. We will also be touring RADIO SILENCE to Osaka, Japan as part of EXPO Canada - our first international tour! It is an exciting year ahead, and we cannot express how much we appreciate your support.

Members will receive an invitation to observe our closed rehearsals, automatic entry into all raffles, and an annual newsletter with updates and behind-the-scenes info.

Your membership fee covers one year of membership to Open Pit Theatre Society.

Your membership will not be automatically renewed, unless you opt to make a recurring donation.

Open Pit Theatre is based in Whitehorse, Yukon on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation, and the Ta'an Kwäch'än Council. We are honoured to devise, rehearse, and perform on these lands.
